The calm before the storm.. little did we know just how literal that would be.

The hurricane officially RSVP'd yes. 

Hurricane party crew!  With nearly everything on 30A closed in preparation for the storm, we found ourselves at one of the last places open (and the brother of the bride's fav dive bar), Johnny McTighe's Irish pub! Making the best of a very unexpected wedding weekend. 

No power? No problem. The bride's brother and future sister-in-law had the bar covered!

Even a hurricane couldn't stop our first dance! No power, no band, just the bride's brother signing our song while we danced in the middle of a storm. Consider this a sneak peak of what's to come in March!

Wedding day morning! Supposed to be walking down the aisle, but instead we went walking to check out the aftermath of hurricane Isaias. 

Not quite the wedding day we had planned. With the power out across 30A and Shades being the only place open, we traded wedding bells for beer and football.
