An Important Wedding Update

With heavy hearts, we regret to share that, due to the approaching hurricane and the potential impact on our area, the wedding celebration of Liza and Lawrence, originally scheduled for October 10th, has been postponed.

While this is certainly not the celebration they envisioned, the safety and well-being of their beloved family, friends, and everyone involved must remain our highest priority.

For a couple who has put so much love, thought, and excitement into this special day, we know this is an incredibly disappointing moment. We hope you will join us in surrounding them with love, encouragement, and heartfelt well wishes as they navigate this unexpected change in plans.

Love is always worth celebrating, and this celebration is simply being saved for a sunnier day!

We look forward to gathering with all of you to celebrate this wonderful couple at a future date, which will be announced as soon as arrangements are confirmed.

Our family usually drives from Louisville, which is about a 9 hour trip plus stops.

Flying is also a nice option for those coming from farther away. Our recommended airport to fly into would be Panama City Beach (ECP) located 20-30 mins from Watersound.

Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another airport option but is about an hour and half away from Watersound.

Those choosing to fly and attending with multiple friends/family may want to look into getting a rental car. This stretch of 30a does offer ride share services like Uber and Lyft, but they are not as abundant as other cities.

Below are a few of our recommended places to stay. We’d love for you to stay close by and make a weekend of it!
