An Important Wedding UpdateWith heavy hearts, we regret to share that, due to the approaching hurricane and the potential impact on our area, the wedding celebration of Liza and Lawrence, originally scheduled for October 10th, has been postponed. While this is certainly not the celebration they envisioned, the safety and well-being of their beloved family, friends, and everyone involved must remain our highest priority. For a couple who has put so much love, thought, and excitement into this special day, we know this is an incredibly disappointing moment. We hope you will join us in surrounding them with love, encouragement, and heartfelt well wishes as they navigate this unexpected change in plans.Love is always worth celebrating, and this celebration is simply being saved for a sunnier day!We look forward to gathering with all of you to celebrate this wonderful couple at a future date, which will be announced as soon as arrangements are confirmed.Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and support. Above all, we wish everyone safety in the days ahead. With warmest regards,Rachelle YoudWedding Planner & DesignerOn behalf of Liza and Lawrence

Our Wedding

We met in March 2022 through mutual friends at a local brewery. What started as a casual night out quickly turned into great conversation, plenty of laughs, and the beginning of something special. Just three days later, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since. That summer, Lawrence helped Liza move back home from Indianapolis. He showed up in a U-Haul van (and surprisingly looked cute doing it). More importantly, it was the first glimpse into how easy life felt together. From there, our relationship continued to grow through time spent with family and friends, countless sporting events, travel, and plenty of golf along the way.In October of 2025, during a trip to Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, Lawrence proposed on the golf course overlooking Lake Michigan. The moment came right after we both three-putted for bogey, which somehow made it perfectly us.It was the easiest “yes.”We’ve shared so many incredible memories over the past few years, but we are most excited for the next chapter, starting with our wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we love the most, who have been part of our story from the very beginning.

Wedding Party

Our family usually drives from Louisville, which is about a 9 hour trip plus stops.Flying is also a nice option for those coming from farther away. Our recommended airport to fly into would be Panama City Beach (ECP) located 20-30 mins from Watersound.Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is another airport option but is about an hour and half away from Watersound. Those choosing to fly and attending with multiple friends/family may want to look into getting a rental car. This stretch of 30a does offer ride share services like Uber and Lyft, but they are not as abundant as other cities.Below are a few of our recommended places to stay. We’d love for you to stay close by and make a weekend of it!

Book a place in Prominence to be in the same neighborhood as us. Prominence offers many Vrbo beach houses that sleep 4–18 guests—ideal for groups; use this link to browse available options for our wedding weekend: https://www.vrbo.com/search?destination=Prominence%2C+Santa+Rosa+Beach%2C+Florida%2C+United+States+of+America&regionId=553248635976413705&latLong=30.301505%2C-86.064993&flexibility=0_DAY&d1=2026-10-08&startDate=2026-10-08&d2=2026-10-11&endDate=2026-10-11&adults=1
